The Vision

My vision for this website is to create a filter for pleasant artifacts that are floating in this ocean of information called the internet, and to share the good harvest with everyone especially the next generations.

It’s not about sharing photos, videos or jokes that amuse you for a few minutes and then forgotten. No, not those.

I mean things of real substance that leave an impression and are worth passing on.

  • songs that refresh the heart and soul, lyrics that actually make you feel good
  • inspiring documents from your InBox shared to you by a good friend
  • stories that remind us of the good old virtues and values
  • insights on technology and the art in its design

As a member of Generation X (those approaching or are already middle years), I have the vantage point of experience with the ability to relate what was then and now.

It is not to discriminate the younger generation but rather to preserve the keystone values that characterize the age bracket I belong to, thereby passing on the good stuff to the next.

REALITY CHECK

I must say that things have changed a lot over the last half century. My observations trigger a sense of humor which ironically may not be amusing after all, depending on which spectacles you choose to see with.

See how technology has changed us in the last few decades.

All things being considered, it is not always true that we have achieved progress overall.

This website gives us the opportunity to take a step back and re-evaluate the landscape from various angles as we pick up the good points for all to share.

Music

Have you ever noticed how music has evolved from meaningful lyrics of love into negative energy? I can understand the deviation due to the generation gap, but it is hard to ignore the decline in substance when the tools of improvement have advanced dramatically. What did we miss?

By looking back at history, we may pick up concepts that have been overlooked as we sped through the last few decades.

I consider myself lucky to have experienced the 70’s and 80’s as a teenager. I am not alone when I say that retro 80’s music is one of the best. There is something magical about the 80’s music era which brings memories that still make me float in the air. I would love to share that musical language with the next generations. Take a glimpse at My Music

Inspired Collection

When you reach midlife, you begin to see things differently. There’s not that much mileage on the road ahead than it used to be. In fact, there are more miles behind than what is in front of you. Life is too short and you want to make the most of the remaining stretch.

My collection of inspired literature puts into perspective the emotional struggles of this interesting segment of adult life. I feel fortunate to have survived over two decades of married life and still going strong. I wish to share the spiritual gifts that have allowed me to keep the flame burning while keeping my sanity still intact.

What the world needs is a constant dose of divine inspiration. It’s a very personal thing and can be a very sensitive topic. Putting that aside, I am bold enough not to be ashamed to share the light. After all, you don’t lose anything by lighting another person’s candle with your own.

If you feel enlightened with any of my articles, please pass them on to those with unlit candles. It makes the heart feel good.

Technology

Our generation has also seen the exponential transformation of technology and its impact on our daily lives. As a computer consultant by profession, I share the insights on technology which many of my age group (and beyond) will find useful in their professional growth.

My aim is to discuss principles that span across time, instead of myopically focusing on the current hype which expires almost instantaneously when the next wave is pushed into the market.

If you are looking for answers on how to use the latest operating system, you’ve come to the wrong place. I don’t allocate time on that. Microsoft does, and they are very good at it.

But if your concern is how to map out the latest technology offerings into a business plan to achieve your bottom line, then this is the place for you. I am good at that.

Need to develop an end-to-end business systems solution? Bingo. I find that subject really sexy and I can dance with her all night long.

The articles herein are neither meant to entertain nor amuse the reader. Instead, it requires a cognitive effort to appreciate the intellectual depth of what is being presented.

Confused ?

One might ask why such diverse topics are mixed together, like oil and water. Technology, spirituality and music.

Well, this is my own way of demonstrating that not all technology addicts are confined to their geeky nerdy world. There is a creative literary side beneath it all. And in good taste.

This fusion of technical talent and creative genius creates a synergy which I refer to as the art of digital poetry. That’s the good stuff and it’s free for everyone to share.

Spread the Love

Thus, I encourage everyone to do the same, i.e., pass on the good stuff. Pay it forward. The dividends are enormous when the Master upstairs smiles at you.

Knowledge is something that you can keep giving away but can never be taken away from you

In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made very good written content as you did, the world wide web are going to be far more practical than actually prior to.
